The University Graduate School is dedicated to supporting University of Birmingham’s postgraduate researcher (PGR) community. Fostering cross-college, interdisciplinary communities and acting as a gateway to support and advice. We work closely with the other University support services to ensure our postgraduate researchers have access to a high quality experience.

We offer a variety of academic, social and wellbeing activities throughout the year. Join the University Graduate School for some board games and Christmas crafts in the Christmas Marquee - the perfect chance to take a break from your studies, get into the festive spirit, and meet your fellow postgraduates! After playing some games and getting crafty, we will attend the campus Christmas lights switch on, meaning you will get to see the University in its full festive glory!</h3>This festive social will include:<ul><li>The chance to socialise with your fellow postgraduates;</li><li>Board games to play;</li><li>Christmas crafts to enjoy;</li><li>A chance to meet Santa himself;</li><li>Plus the opportunity to watch the campus Christmas lights be switched on! </li></ul>P lease note that alcohol will not be served at this event.This event is open only to University of Birmingham postgraduate taught students (PGTs) and postgraduate researchers (PGRs).PGT programmes include: MA, MSc, MBA, MEd, LLM, MPH, Maths SKE, MPA, PG Affiliate, PG Certificate, PG Dip Ed, PG Diploma, and PGCE.PGR programmes include: MPhil, MMus, MRes, MA by Research, MSc by Research, MLitt, PhD, PhD with integrated study, EngD, DDS, MD, Higher doctorates and Professional doctorates.If you have any other questions, please contact Liam Knight at graduateschool@contacts.bham.ac.ukRegistration will close 15 mins before the event start time or when tickets are sold out. We will be checking attendees against the Eventbrite registration and you may be refused entry if we have met capacity and you are not on the list. We have limited capacity so please cancel your ticket if you can no longer attend.
