About this eventBook your place for our in-person event at Edinburgh College of Art Evolution House for an afternoon of artificial intelligence. We'll hear from Stratos and Bartek from the University of Edinburgh as well as getting a basic intro to generative AI (ChatGPT, etc) and a chance to discuss how AI is influencing our own roles in the public sector. This event is for anyone in the public sector and is aimed at providing a safe space to discuss artificial intelligence tools. “Welcome to our robot colleagues” - Find out more about the University of Edinburgh's Learning, Teaching and Web Services' approach in adopting AI, and how they could improve delivery of its services.Stratos Filalithis leads the Website &amp; Communications section at the Univesity of Edinburgh. This includes the corporate University Website, its underlying Web Content Management System (EdWeb), the Student &amp; Staff Portal (MyEd), and the User Experience, Website Development and Graphic Design services. Having an interest in technology and digital strategy, Stratos spends a lot of effort being updated on the latest developments in areas related with digital leadership, web technologies, service management, project and business methodologies and techniques, and user behaviour and experience.Bartlomiej Pohorecki works as the ChatGPT and OpenAI intern at LTW within the ISG. He monitors the state of AI innovation and ensures ethical conduct using AI tools. He is the founder and host of the AI Tomorrow Podcast, which explores topics of artificial intelligence, consciousness, and AI ethics through conversations with the leading voices in this field. The podcast is affiliated with the School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences at the University of Edinburgh. You will have plenty of time to ask you questions as well as time for networking and coffee from 2pm and after the talks.
