Through training and resources, Acorn provide ministry and skills for the journey of Christian healing.Acorn remains engaged in, and committed to being a transformative agent in today's multifaceted society. Our events are divided into three main pathways of learning:Listening - Foundational for any type of care, the listening strand of our training portfolio equips you to competently support others within health and social care environments, schools, churches and a range of other community services.Healing - Providing practical and helpful training in the ministry of healing in and through the local church and communities.Reconciliation - Finding not just solutions to conflict, but learning how relationships impacted by conflict can be healed. Our conflict transformation program helps bring understanding of how conflict starts and ends, essential for healthy, life-giving relationships.

Christian Healing Academy<h2>Christian Healing Academy</h2>The Acorn Healing Academy ’24 is an opportunity to begin a journey of discovery in the Christian Healing Ministry. Each month we open up a particular theme related to Healing which will equip you to put in to practice the commission given to Jesus’ disciples to be agents of His Kingdom coming on earth - spirit, mind and body.You will have the chance to listen to Biblically framed teaching, discuss with others and share in the learning process. You will be able to put it into practice what you are learning and also receive ministry yourself - all online or in an in-person group that gathers with you.If you are already some way on your journey, the Acorn Healing Academy ’24 will give you the opportunity to refresh your understanding and perhaps see things in a clearer way as you join in discussion with seasoned Acorn leaders.The purpose? - to change the way the church thinks about the Healing Ministry and to equip Jesus’ 'today disciples’ with the tools of the Kingdom of God. Come and join us - we are looking forward to meeting you.The Christian Healing Academy runs the first Saturday of each month and can be joined by groups and individuals.
