Friends of the River Crane Environment. We area registered charity based in Twickenham, UK, whose aims are to protect and enhance the open spaces and environment around the River Crane.

Mereway Nature Reserve

This year we are again holding a winter bird walk along the River Crane and hopefully shall see some winter migratory birds too. Take a stroll and catch the early morning birds in Crane Park with our expert Keith Martin. You will be surprised to learn about the number of species we have living close by. The walk starts from the noticebaord in Mereway Nature Reserve which is at the end of Mereway Road in Twickenham. You can also walk from Meadway through Kneller Gardens over the small bridge. No dogs on the walk today. Booking is essential so we know how many folk to cater for. Do wear sturdy footwear, and in clothing suitable for the weather on that day. Due to <a href="https://www.force.org.uk/assets/documents/v-safeguarding-policy-2017" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">safeguarding needs</a> all children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. We are a very sociable group and look forward to meeting you.
