Join us online for a panel discussion with key South London stakeholders, with the chance for you to contribute to the debate .

South London has over 635,000 properties to decarbonise by 2030. In real-time, this would require approximately 66,250 person-years to deliver the interventions required to retrofit our buildings over the next 10 years. Retrofitting is the process of installing new measures to improve the energy efficiency of homes, such as insulation and double-glazing or generating cleaner energy using solar panels, heat pumps and other technologies. The South London Partnership has secured funding to start to tackle this challenge by developing a retrofit skills action plan for South London. What skills do we need to make this happen? What is already in place, and what do we need to implement to ensure that the current and next-generation workforce has the important green skills to make this a reality? We’re therefore inviting construction companies, builders, developers, housing associations, employers, further education colleges, universities, and the public sector to join us and feed into this important discussion.
