You’re invited to join us for the VIP Bristol City, Council Tax 2020/21 consultation event.

Hear from guest speakers, put your questions to Council staff and take part in the consultation. Places at the event are free and the event will be British Sign Language interpreted. If you have any accessibility requirements please let us know when you book.You don't have to be a member of the Voice and Influence Partnership to attend this event. The high response rates to last year’s Budget Consultation from people with protected characteristics, such as members of the Voice and Influence Partnership, were an important influence, and helped the council decide to increase Council Tax by 4% to help fund local services.This year the consultation options range from making no change to a 2% increase in the amount of Council Tax you pay for general council services such as children’s services, waste and recycling, street lighting, parks, and addressing homelessness.
