Designed by ECHF members, this bespoke course focuses heavily on managing change & leading culture for work in community development.

Space: Broomhouse Hub

Day 1 and then the coaching session will have supported you in identifying your priorities for organisational change and your plans. This day then looks at the complexities of how culture works as an enabler or barrier and how to lead the culture, so you can adjust and create realistic plans that take these factors into account.
Content of Day 2

•	Leading and Creating the right teams and structures for Change. In this session you will use the theory for what makes effective teams to design or re-design the teams involved in the change to perform well. 

•	Analysing and re-planning change initiatives – This is a practical tool that allows managers and leaders to reframe ‘resistance to change’ and alter their plan or approach to take account of the competing priorities that are in the organisation. This is based on the Harvard tool called Immunity Mapping. 

•	Managing Culture - Mapping and understanding culture – this enables everyone to develop more clarity on what is organisational culture, how it works over time and what you can do to address and affect the culture.

•	Pacing realistic Culture Change and Development Timelines – In this section participants will be given a tool to bring together each of the factors they have been considering to plot it out into a practical phased timeline of organisational development.
