Hekate Symposium - Online edition - Exploring the Goddess Hekate in the Now &amp; the Future!

The Hekate Symposium is a gathering of devotees of all paths who share an interest in the Goddess Hekate. In this edition of the Hekate Symposium we will be exploring the Goddess Hekate as She is seen and experienced in the here and now, as well as into the future.The Hekate Symposium is back! More and more devotees and practitioners around the world are hearing the call of our torchbearing Goddess of the crossroads and on March 10 th 2024 from 1pm to 10pm (UTC / London UK) we’ll be hearing from diverse voices from all around the globe on the theme of ‘Hekate: Now and the Future’…and what embraces that theme more than the symposium being online and accessible to everyone?The first Hekate Symposium took place in Glastonbury in 2012 and since then it has evolved and expanded into an international, online event. The last online symposium took place in 2021 and was attended by 100s of people worldwide. We look forward to welcoming you, whether you are a seasoned devotee or curious seeker, to our sixth event.We have a full day planned of short talks by incredible speakers, both established and up and coming, including Sorita D’Este, Mat Auryn, Carrie Kirkpatrick, Jennifer Teixeira, Kay Gillard, Georgi Mishev, Laurie Bianciotta, Emily Carding, Christina Moraiti, Monte Plaisance and many more. There will also be discussion panels on themes relevant to our lives as Hekate devotees today, enabling the exchange of ideas and perspectives. We will all share in opening and closing ceremonies as well as guided meditations throughout the day.How do we adapt historic practices and beliefs to our modern life? How has devotion to Hekate evolved through contact with other cultures? How is technology integrated into Hekatean devotion today? Is there a reason that so many LGBTQIA+ practitioners and devotees are drawn so strongly to Hekate? Come join us for a fascinating and inspiring day as the global community connect and explore these themes and more.Tickets are priced to enable access to all who wish to attend, including donation tickets for those on a tight budget and sponsorship tickets that help us to to fund the by donation tickets, as well as future community events.
