Yes, in order to ensure that only people who live in the constituency vote, we must check names and addresses to the electoral roll.

No. The winning candidate will stand for their own party as normal. Think of the Primary as taking the guesswork out of tactical voting.

Will the losing candidates be asked to step down?

No. We are not asking any candidate to come off the ballot paper, but we would anticipate that the losing parties would direct their energies and resources to other/adjacent constituencies where they are needed - especially important since the Conservatives almost doubled spending limits.
