Course of Sewing Workshops - Beginners

To help the Ringwood area to address climate change and biodiversity by planting trees, encouraging reuse, up-cycling, better recycling and the use of alternatives to fossils fuel. We try to bring people together so that we can learn from each other and take action both individually and together.

Ringwood RACE Against Time

Come along to learn how to use a sewing machine to  upcycle your preloved fabrics. Set of 5 workshops.

Do you have a sewing machine sat around doing nothing or hidden in the loft?Do you want to be able to create hand made gifts for people?Would you love to be able to mend clothes with confidence?The sew along allows you to learn new skills, share ideas and get inspiration.This is a series of 5 x 2 hour sessions. They will start on Friday 13th September from 09.30 - 11.30 at the Trinity Centre, Christchurch Road, Ringwood, BH24 1DH. There are 4 more dates: Friday 11th October, 8th November, 11th January 2025 and 8th February 2025. We are making a non-refundable charge of £20 for the whole course – details below. We know how great value this is! Please note that we are all volunteers.
