7th May - Bees Frame Building Workshop

Come join us on May 7th for a hands-on Frame Building Workshop with Elaine the Beekeeper!

Join us for a buzzing experience with our resident beekeeper Elaine on Thursday, 7th May at the Foundry! This hands-on Frame Building Workshop offers a chance to learn about bees, build your own honey frame, and place it into a live hive in the garden.

Workshop Details:
📍 Location: Conference Hall, The Foundry
🕚 Times:

• Group 1: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Group 2: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  👥 Limited to 11 participants per group

Elaine will guide you through the structure of a beehive using a full demonstration hive, explain how the colony works, and then lead you in building a super frame ( where bees store their honey). Afterward, you'll suit up and head to the garden to see the bees in action and place your frame into the hive!

All equipment (including bee suits and gloves) will be provided.
