We are on a mission to make the reuse, repair, and redistribution of surplus furniture, equipment and supplies mainstream in organisations.
 
Attend this workshops if you are interested in maximising reuse and repair within and between organisations, across the city or region.
 
The event is focussed on reuse within and between organisations in the public, private, 3rd sector and schools. 
 
As a stakeholder in making reuse happen in your organisation, we want to give you the ideas, tools, and tips to help you do that in the most effective way possible.

10.10 The QUB reuse journey. QUB have had an established digital reuse system for over 5 years. Nicola Keown. Assistant Estates Manager (Environment) Queens University Belfast talk about the barriers they have faced, how they have been overcome and what is next on the reuse journey!

10.50 Cara Browne.  Waste and Recycling Manager from Northern Health and Social Care Trust commissioned the Warp It Reuse platform 12 months ago. In this talk, she outlines how to set up and deliver a 12 month trial reuse program.

11.30 The University of Ulster redistributes surplus assets internally and also sells surplus assets to staff. In this talk, Marie Louise Gaile Sustainability Manager at Ulster University highlights how the process works and the barriers that have been faced.

12.40 Claire Downey,  National Coordinator from Community Reuse Network Ireland gives an overview of the strategic state of reuse in Ireland.
 
13..20: Daniel O'Connor from Warp It gives an insight into setting up reuse programmes in 350+ large organisations. The barriers that are faced and how they have been overcome.  IN this talk he will also discuss communications, policy changes and getting buy-in.

The Warp It Workshops are designed to help you maximise reuse in your organisation, by sharing ideas and experiences with others in similar positions in other organisations, in other sectors and beyond. 
 
You will learn from expert speakers and take part in cross-sectoral,  pan-regional explorations of the issues, to make reuse and repair normal.
  
You will leave this session with a clear way forward to deliver an organisational, city and region-wide reuse system.
