PfL/RCF 'Farm for the Future' programme

Pasture for Life is delivering the Royal Countryside Fund's free programme of workshops aimed at developing resilience across farming businesses. Our two current programmes are running in East Anglia and the East Midlands.

'The power to regenerate the land lies not in our farming practices but in how we manage the ecological, financial and social dynamics'. This multi-faceted approach introduced by Sheila Cooke from 3LM will be sure to stimulate thought, provoke debate and possibly inspire change. Whatever your takeaway, this is a workshop that will leave you feeling energised and seeing farming in a new light. Join 3LM on Monday 15 April at a topic workshop hosted by Alex Gray, Lecturer at Booksby Collage, Brooksby Hall, Brooksby, LE14 2LJ. The day will start with teas/coffees, and delving into the world of Holistic Management, what is it and how could we use it on our farms and businesses.. Lunch will be catered by the college and then out to view the 20 acre herbal ley, agroforesty trials with mob grazed cattle. This innovative day is sponsored by Anglian Water and Catchment Sensitive Farming as part of their drive to engage with farmers to promote sustainable ways of improving soil health and water management.All course attendees will be invited to attend a 3-day course on Holistic Management later in the year.Please email Hannah via eastmidlands@pastureforlife.org or message her on 07801814086 with any dietary requirements.
