The University of Nottingham will return to home National Badminton League competition, with a fixture against Wimbledon!

David Ross Sports Village

The National Badminton League continues at the the university, as the competition returns to the courts. The #GreenandGold will hope to build on their victory in ourfirst Headliner of the year against Wycombe Performance.With the return of former scholars alongside our current badminton first teamers, expect to see an incredibly high level of badminton on campus, metres away from your halls of residence or university lectures.The 5 matches on the night will include:<ul><li>1 x Men's singles match</li><li>1 x Women's singles match</li><li>1 x Men's doubles match</li><li>1 x Women's doubles match</li><li>1 x Mixed doubles match</li></ul>Matches are scheduled to begin at 6.30pm.Getting to David Ross Sports Village &amp; EntryThe match will take place in the sports hall at David Ross Sports Village with bleacher seating for spectators. Please make sure that you have your ticket QR to hand when entering the facility, as well as your student ID if required.David Ross Sports Village is situated on the University of Nottingham Campus, accessible from the West and North entrances. You can find out more about accessing campus as well as viewing a copy of the campus map <a href="https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/about/visitorinformation/mapsanddirections/universityparkcampus.aspx" title="https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/about/visitorinformation/mapsanddirections/universityparkcampus.aspx" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here</a>.Carry-in policySealed bottles of water and soft drinks, and personal size food items (e.g., a sandwich, crisps, piece of fruit) are all permitted. Strictly no alcohol is permitted to be brought into the complex.ConcessionsFood and drink will be available inside David Ross Sports Village at the Clubhouse Cafe.ParkingWe would like to advise spectators that parking on-site at David Ross Sports Village can be limited, and encourage spectators to use public transport wherever possible. If you are planning to park at the centre, parking will be free after 5.30pm on the evening of the fixture.
