Join us at the SEND: Preparing for Adulthood Info Event on March 25th, 2024.

We are excited to be hosting a Preparing for Adulthood Info Event for families of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in partnership with Sheffield’s Family Hubs.This event is designed for young people with special educational needs and disabilities and their families to access support for adulthood transition. The event is suitable for young people in Y9 and above. Guests will have the opportunity to speak with officers from a variety of services - from education and health to social care and transport – and have the chance to ask questions, access support and seek bespoke guidance for their situation. There will also be the chance for families to meet and share their experiences with other parents and carers.Please direct any questions regarding the event to maddison.murphy@sheffield.gov.ukDetails of future events will be shared via our mailing list soon in case you are unable to attend this session.
