This penguin is really easy to make and a lot of fun! Come and spend an hour with Carly from Carly&#x27;s Creative Clay, who will take you you step by step through the process.You will be working with Fimo, a brightly coloured polymer clay. It is certified as safe for children and the only tool you will be using is a wooden cocktail stick. You don&#x27;t need to know how to work with clay as you will be given a laminated instruction sheet to keep (see picture below) and there will be two teachers available. You will just need to be able to use your hands and arms to work the clay which can be a bit stiff to start with. The class is suitable for all ages from 5 years old onwards, but children aged 5 - 10 will need an adult with them to help them.It&#x27;s not a messy clay but don&#x27;t wear your best clothes! It will strip nail colours and treatments so latex-free gloves will be provided if needed.When you&#x27;ve made your Penguin you can take it home in the box provided to bake it in an electric oven or you can leave it with Carly who will bake it for you and you can pick it up from Yourspace from Monday onwards. Once you&#x27;ve made the Penguin you won&#x27;t want to stop, and for only £5 you can buy a complete Snowman Christmas Tree Decoration kit to make at home.There are only 15 spaces available. Tickets are £12 per person, or £10 per person if you&#x27;re buying two or more tickets at the same time. 25% of this will go to Yourspace Sutton to support their amazing work. Eventbrite charge a small processing fee.Note: If this is your first visit to Yourspace Sutton, please allow a little extra time to find us. We are inside (at the back of) Seears Park. The entrance is via a small access road marked &quot;Seears Park&quot; (see picture below) on the A217. It is just north of the A232 Sutton/Cheam crossroads, practically in the shadow of the signpost for that junction on the North side, opposite Love Lane. I hope this helps - first time visitors sometimes drive past a couple of times before finding it.
