We invite you to  Barnardo's needs assessment of 'Veterans in Custody, their Children &amp; Families'.

In 2018, Barnardo's was funded by Forces in Mind Trust to undertake this research to develop a greater understanding of the needs, experiences and service provision of the whole family before, during and after an ex-military father enters custody. The final report offers detailed insight into their experiences and puts forwards recommendations for the future improvement and development of services working with this population. The launch will involve a presentation of findings, key notes speeches (including veteran and family members who participated in the research) and a round table discussion to give attendees the opportunity to network and discuss how best to take the findings forward in their individual organisations. A two course lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
