Our 2-year Woolwich High Street Heritage Action Zone Project comes to an end in 2024 and we will be celebrating with Woolwich residents: join us!

As part of the Heritage Action Zone project we are inviting the Woolwich residents to explore their town's heritage hidden in plain sight, in the shops and buildings you walk past everyday!These FREE heritage walks are approx 30mins in lenght and will cover various different perspectives of Woolwich's history, focusing mainly on the High Street and areas within the conservation zone.These walks will be of interest to any local residents wanting to know more about their town and also curious families looking to educate themselves!PLEASE NOTE: The 13:15 walk will commence at Woolwich Front Room (105 Powis St). All others will commence at the Library (Wellington St Entrance).
