Make a Rustic Pencil, Wooden Whistle and  Clay Creature

The Friends of Milton Creek Country Park are a community based group who help to preserve, maintain and promote the Country Park. Together with the Park Ranger the Friends organise various family activities throughout the year. All the money raised at events goes back into funding other events or to improve the facilities in the Park. Volunteers meet every Tuesday to carry out a wide variety of tasks across the Park. If you would like to be actively involved then just turn up at 9am on a Tuesday and the Ranger will make you very welcome. Tools and gloves are provided.

The Park Ranger and Friends of Milton Creek will be offering children's craft activities making rustic crayons, wooden whistles and clay creatures.Learn how to make clay creatures, whistles from Elder and Hazel and crayons from twigs.As sharp tools will be used for this we will be working in small groups. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.Suggested donations of £5 per child. All donations will go to the Friends of Milton Creek Trust. If you would like to book more than one place please just adjust your donation and reply to the confirmation email with the number in your party.
