Join us for the launch of Issue 6 of FIELDNOTES! With readings from contributors Steven Emmerson and Kidist Amberber.

The Horse Hospital

We'll be launching our sixth issue at the wonderful Horse Hospital on the 5 April 2024, please come join us and raise a glass to celebrate!There will be readings from contributors to the issue including writer and artist Steven Emmerson alongside poet Kidist Amberber.This event is free and open to all but we welcome donations from those who are able to give. As the Horse Hospital used to be a stable, it doesn’t have a staircase, but instead a large cobbled ramp which might be difficult to negotiate in a wheelchair although not impossible. The floor surface throughout is uneven. The toilets are not equipped for disabled access. ABOUTFIELDNOTES is an artist-run publishing project based in Newham in east London. We produce a print journal twice a year and a public programme of workshops, radio broadcasts, screenings and readings. Founded in 2020, FIELDNOTES aims to promote and support non-conforming creative practices that pioneer new cultural forms.There is always a third thing between two things that are known. We are interested in whatever there is between translations &amp; transitions, friendships &amp; collaborations, things-in-progress, converging genres and methods of poetic innovation. Stephen Emmerson is a writer and artist. His most recent publications are: Gallery and A Box of Ideas, both published by Timglaset, and Pett Levell published by Deaths of Workers. Kidist Amberber was born and raised on Gadigal Land, and is currently based in London. They like Toni Morrison, semi-colons, and loitering.
