The University of Sunderland welcomes employers and prospective apprentices to join our Community and Youth Work Integrated Degree Apprenticeship information event.

This programme provides the opportunity for employers to utilise Apprenticeship Levy or government funding to support staff development and promote individual career advancement, helping to mitigate skills shortages and contribute towards the success and sustainability of the sector moving forwards.

This online event will provide employers, mentors and prospective apprentices with the chance to meet the programme academic team and to find out more information about this apprenticeship.

The Community and Youth Work apprenticeship is headed by an academic team comprising of experienced community and youth work professionals who understand the service requirements and delivery challenges. Alongside current employers, they have designed a three-year integrated degree apprenticeship route that will develop practice in the workplace and learning off the job, supporting individuals to graduate and qualify as a professional (JNC) youth worker.

This event will start with an overview from the course team, discussing the structure, delivery, and course content - with the opportunity to ask questions specific to you and your organisation.

The dedicated University apprenticeship team will also be there to offer advice on the application process as well as information on how to utilise the apprenticeship levy to up-skill the workforce.
