Would you like to be able to have meaningful and inspiring conversations about nature and climate change with people in your community?Perhaps you are one of the millions of people looking for ways to help build political momentum for climate action - and something as simple as conversations with friends, colleagues, neighbours or parents at the school gate could have a big impact.But research shows that more than half of us rarely talk about climate change and this is a huge missed opportunity, particularly when you think about how crucial conversations are to shaping our values and helping us to decide how to vote.And we know conversations can be tricky, so we want to help you get started.Herefordshire Wildlife Trust has teamed up with Larger Us - which works to build broader coalitions for change - to deliver free online training to anyone who wants to up their game when it comes to climate conversations.You’ll learn:Why conversations are so important and how they can lead to increased public engagement in climate action and stronger demands from our politicianHow to start fruitful conversations with people in your community centred on the things they care about - like jobs, the cost of living, energy bills or public transport.How to develop skills to help you really understand the other person’s point of view and keep the conversation on a positive trajectory.Sound good?
