An information roundtable for filmmakers working towards a Short Film Fund application for their animated short film

We will be holding a special edition of our Short Film Fund roundtables aimed at filmmakers working in animation to answer specific questions around the processes and application for the fund. Our BFI NETWORK Talent Executives will be joined by animation producer Abigail Addison (<a href="https://animateprojects.org/" title="https://animateprojects.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Animate Projects</a>) to talk about the current round of Short Film Funding - tackling applications, assessments, guidelines and more.Abigail has been through the process twice before in the Midlands as an animation producer, with her first BFI NETWORK short in the Midlands TREASURE with director Samantha Moore funded in 2020, and is currently on the BFI NETWORK Short Film Fund slate with THE STATUE IN THE GARDEN with director Quinhui Yu. As always with a roundtable, we will be holding space for your questions as well as for you to connect with other filmmakers but is a great opportunity to learn more about the funds and gain insights into the process. The roundtable is open to Midlands filmmakers, as well as producers working with directors based in the Midlands working towards a Short Film Fund application.
