Heritage Network(formerly Heritage Trust Network) is the UK membership body for not-for-profit organisations that are rescuing, restoring and managing historic buildings, structures and spaces. Our members have delivered successful heritage projects against all odds. We operate throughout the United Kingdom, drawing together and supporting the work of local heritage charities, community organisations and social enterprises.We provide an invaluable platform for members for knowledge sharing, peer-to-peer support and skills development. Our guidance helps groups throughout the lifetime of their project, from startup to managing their restored site.  The Heritage Network also gives this extraordinary grassroots movement a united voice, representing their views to government and funding bodies.

<h3>Heritage Trust Network is bringing its conference to Dunfermline in 2024.</h3>Conference is always the highlight of the year; a relaxed and friendly mix of inspirational speakers, lively discussions and fascinating tours and visits to historic sites and community projects locally.Dunfermline has been chosen as the venue because of its fascinating mix of historic sites and the way local organisations are working together to make the most of its heritage assets following the granting of city status in 2022. The incredible philanthropic legacy of Andrew Carnegie is woven through the city’s cultural infrastructure. Network member, Fife Historic Buildings Trust, has recently been granted three years of funding to help it develop restoration and re-use projects in Dunfermline. <h3>Programme</h3>The programme is currently being developed but here is an outline of what we have in mind…All times and details subject to change. Delegates will be advised of the final programme. <h3>Sunday 29th September (afternoon)</h3>Conference information desk and bag drop 12.00 - 17.00 at Abbot House. A bag drop will also be available at Dunfermline Carnegie Library and Galleries. Tours at 13.00 - 14.30 and 15.00 - 16.30.Tours and visits are likely to include Dunfermline Abbey and Palace, Dunfermline Carnegie Library and Galleries, Abbot House, Pittencrieff House, St Margaret’s Cave, Fire Station Creative. Further afield tours are likely to include the Scottish Lime Centre, Culross and Inverkeithing.Conference drinks reception 17.00 - 18.30 at the Dunfermline Carnegie Library and Galleries. <h3>Monday 30th September</h3>Full day conference at the art deco, Glen Pavilion in Pittencrieff Park.
