For anyone who works from home, works for themselves or wants to explore working for themselves.Social: Join folk round the big table if you want a mix of working and talking.Support: ask the person with the yellow duck for advice, information and life hacks for running a small business (neurodivergent work hacks are our speciality) Purple Elephant is open from 9am. On Fridays, you are welcome to work there from 9am until 3.30pm. there is wifi How it works Before 1.30pm, buy your own drinks and get settled at the long wooden table near the entrance. At 1.30pm, the mentor-for-the-day (usually Anne) will welcome people, check in about goals for the 90 minutes and ask if anyone has come for advice, help or support with anything business or neurodivergence related. We can use a separate table or a private room if needed. Please bring headphones if you don't want to be disturbed. There will also be personal 'do not disturb' signs on the table for you to use. Please keep out of people's personal space. If you can touch them with an outstretched arm, you are in their space. If you have come for the social side, please be aware of those who are trying to beat a tough deadline. At 3pm, the mentor will check in to see how people have got on. The cafe is open until 4pm, but a church group will want the table we are using from 3.30pm.
