Our Home Our Planet CIC is a Barnet-based not-for-profit community interest company which aims to tackle sustainability issues through delivering a variety of projects. The Eco Show and Tell is one of them, these sustainability fairs aim to offer a community outreach platform for local environmental groups and individuals.

Finchley Sharing Space is a community hub that supports climate and social action where Barnet residents can join together to share ideas, skills, food and stuff; creating a circular economy, and connected, resilient communities. ecoshowandtell.org/news

The Finchley Sharing Space is an inclusive climate and social action hub. Join us for an event focussing on Finchley's nature, to include an outdoor planting event (4-5pm) followed by indoor event (5-7pm): talks and activities about gardening, growing your own food, learning about volunteer opportunities, swapping plants, seeds and gardening materials and more.Drop in at any time.4pm-5pm at Albert Place, N3 (near Tesco's Ballards Lane)We have secured the support of Barnet Council's Finchley Central Town Team and will plant pollinator-friendly planters. Please join to help with this community planting, all required materials and gardening equipment will be provided. We will also mount a bee hotel.5pm-7pm at Finchley Church End Library, area downstairs:Green market including:Flower &amp; plant sale: plants grown locally at GROW farm will be available for saleSwap: bring in any surplus seeds, plants or veggies you have. It's up to you if you want to sell them or add them to the swap table.Local jams (and hopefully honey!) from local beekeeper Lucie (on sale, revenues donated to Finchley Food Bank).Big RHS Seed Sow: sow veggie &amp; flower seeds in a pot and take them home - led by Liz who leads the Finchley Memorial Hospital community garden.Nature art on display and drawing activities by artist Paul GilbertFinchley Art on display and some items for sale by artist Miki ShawAre you sporty? Join Paul from Good Gym for a stretch at the library, and then run to the nearby Tiny Forest @ Mutton BrookDiscussion circles : Learn from others, and share your own knowledge during our three discussion circles (topics might change slightly)<ol><li>How to grow veggies &amp; fruits</li><li>How to boost biodiversity in your garden while fighting climate change</li><li>What makes a great park</li></ol>Meet representatives from Finchley’s community gardens and open spaces.<ul><li>Anna Crispino, from Finchley Central Energy Garden (at the tube)</li><li>Volunteers from Coppetts Wood Conservationists (North Finchley)</li><li>Roger Chapman from (among so many!)
