Is the venue accessible?

It is accessible to wheelchair users with level access from the Fossgate entrance, and a lift between both floors. Fire alarms have a red flashing light, and visitors will be informed if a fire alarm is sounding. Glass doors and barriers have contrast markings.

What are the nearest car park and how much is car parking?

Accepted Answer

The nearest car park to the Hall, is Castle car park, which is open 24 hours a day. After 6pm (to 8am) the charge is £4 or £1 for Minster Badge holders. Park and pay by phone in this car park. The location number for this car park is 808748. Tower Street, York, YO1 9SA

What is the nearest accessible car parking?

Cars with a Blue Badge parking permit can park for up to three hours in two separate parking bays on Piccadilly. Both are within a 5-minute journey on foot or in a wheelchair to the Hall. Blue badge holders can also park at  Castle Car Park
