Do I need to register to attend?

Yes! Our shop has limited space. We don't want anyone to be turned away on the night so let us know you'll be there. If we need a bigger space, we'll find one!

How do I pre-order a copy of Black Ops & Beaver Bombing?

You'll be able to request a copy during the registration process. Leslie at First Draft Books will be in touch to confirm your order and let you know about collection. You will not need to pay for the book until you pick it up.

Do I need to purchase the book to attend?

Nope. You can just come along and enjoy the conversation.

How do I get to First Draft Books?

Accepted Answer

The buses to Newton Abbot & Exeter stop across from the shop. If you are driving to Bovey Tracey for the event, there are a few paid parking lots near the shop. Mary Street and Abbey Street lots are the closest. Some free & short-term on-street parking can also be found on Fore Street.

Are there accommodations for attendees with special needs?

Accepted Answer

Drop-off and pick-up is available in front of the building, which is accessed via three steps and a narrow entryway. The toilet is on the first floor, up approximately 20 stairs. Please reach out to Leslie at hello@firstdraftbooks.co.uk to discuss any accessibility needs you might have.
