About this event

  • 2 hours

Frontier Youth Trust (FYT) has worked with Churches and Christian youth spaces for over 50 years, supporting youth workers on the edge. The edge of the Church moves and changes over time, one of the current edges is how to engage and work with the LGBTQ community.

Within Churches, LGBTQ has become a hot topic, it can cause division, in Churches and communities. What does that mean for your Church, where do you start if you have little or no understanding of LGBTQ people or the issues they face?

Join us for an interactive workshop to learn about LGBTQ people, and how to offer welcome and support in a friendly and appropriate way.

Frontier Youth Trust is a movement journeying with young people on the margins of church and society. Across the UK we are a tribe of people and projects working with young people in local communities; creating new projects and possibilities; calling others to ministry on the margins; and challenging and changing the system. For more than fifty years Frontier Youth Trust has been a home for those building a better world for young people.
