Talk on Volunteering for students and graduates as a tool to improve their employability by Natalia Karlina

<a href="https://yourrussianinterpreter.com/" title="https://yourrussianinterpreter.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Natalia Karlina</a> is an experienced and highly qualified English Russian conference and business interpreter and translator, holder of a bachelor’s degree in interpreting and translation and a master’s in conference interpreting. With over 15 years’ experience as an interpreter and translator, Natalia has worked both in-house and as a freelancer specialising in immigration, business, NGOs, government, sustainability, technical, and sports. She also works as a proofreader, editor, and subtitler. The talk will include the following: <ul><li>Definition of volunteering in Translation &amp; Interpreting context; </li><li>Arguments in favour of and against volunteering;</li><li>Guidelines for volunteer translators and interpreters; </li><li>Translation &amp; Interpreting volunteer opportunities.</li></ul>
