Join us for an informative 1 hour session with the Modern Slavery Coordinators from the London Tri-Borough (Hammersmith & Fulham Council, The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea (RBKC), Westminster City Council (WCC)) and STOP THE TRAFFIK, who will delve explore how to collect modern slavery data to inform a geo-targeted data-led campaign.

Modern slavery is often a hidden and underreported crime and understanding the true extent of who victims/survivors are in local communities can be challenging. Even when data about victims/survivors is gathered, it can be difficult to know how to use data to take action and make meaningful change.

The session is aimed at local authority teams and anyone in the anti-slavery sector working on or interested in preventative campaigns, and will explore:

How STOP THE TRAFFIK uses data and technology to prevent trafficking
Working in partnership – how the three borough modern slavery data-sharing project was undertaken and what evidence it provided
Putting data into action – the development, delivery and impact of the geo-targeted social media campaign
