In this workshop for 9–11 year-olds, students will explore codes and ciphers from the last 2000 years.

The best mathematicians make the best codebreakers. They have logical minds, can stick at a task, see patterns and follow algorithms. Jenny Sharp will explore codes and ciphers from the last 2000 years in this hands–on session. Students will learn how to create codes and ciphers to send secret messages and how they can be broken.This workshop is strictly for ages 9–11 only. Refunds can only be issued for tickets cancelled at least two weeks (14 calendar days) in advance of the event date. Please note that this supersedes our normal event terms and conditions.Please note - this session was orginally advertised as running on 8 August.
