We're looking for cancer patients (past or present) with Caribbean or African heritage to help us improve our care

Have you ever been diagnosed or treated for cancer at one of our hospitals? If your ethnicity includes Caribbean or African heritage, please come to an event where we will be listening to your views.You are warmly invited to join Itzi Atucha, Head of Nursing for Cancer Services and some of our cancer team, for the chance to share your patient story and help us drive improvements within our cancer services. Carers are also welcome.The event is at St Mary’s Community Centre, 180 Eltham High Street, London SE9 1BJ on Friday 17 May from 12 midday to 3pm. Free refreshments.Please let us know that you can come by registering using this Eventbrite page. When we receive confirmation that you will be attending, we will email you the full details. You can attend without registering, but to avoid waste we only prepare refreshments and meet dietary requirements for the people who have confirmed in advance.We are very much looking forward to meeting you.
