What does our Christian faith say about disability? These five weekly online learning sessions are only for people who identify as Disabled.

Or you can register your interest in future courses by emailing margins@leedschurchinstitute.org_________________________________________What does our Christian faith have to say about disability?Join the Leeds Church Institute community for this five week course to learn all about Disability Theology, the study of God and the experience of Disabled people.These online teaching sessions have been developed by Disabled Christians in Leeds, and will explore:Session 1: Tuesday 25th June<ul><li>Intro to disability models and theology</li></ul>Session 2: Tuesday 2nd July<ul><li>What does the Bible say about disability?</li></ul>Session 3: Tuesday 9th July<ul><li>Sin, healing and disability</li></ul>Session 4: Tuesday 16th July<ul><li>How do we understand emotional and neurological difference?</li></ul>Session 5: Tuesday 23rd July<ul><li>What might a new theology of disability look like - and what does this mean for you?</li></ul>Each session will last 1 hour, from 7-8pm_________________________________________Please note that this is a closed group only for people who identify as Disabled. You can use the same link to join the call each week. You don't need to prepare or read anything in advance - just turn up ready to learn and join in the conversation.We understand you may need a carer present to join the course, they are more than welcome to attend with you. If you have any other access requirements that could make it easier for you to join this course, do get in touch.When you sign up for this event, you sign up for the whole course of five weekly sessions. If you can't make all the sessions you're still welcome to join in, just send us a message on events@leedschurchinstitute.org to let us know.
