Take a deep dive into the artists’ practices by attending one of our three artist talks. Find out more about what inspired them to make the work they are presenting in our inaugural exhibition ‘A Landscape of Chance’ . Sunday 2 June at 3pm at 56 Conduit St W1S 2YZTaylor &amp; Athene‘Textile &amp; Digital’ Talks are free to attend but RSVP is essential Damaris Athene’s transdisciplinary practice explores the posthuman and how lived experience mediated through technology offers new ways of viewing the materiality and potential of the body. Work transmutes from painting to sculpture, photography, and digital collage, often accumulating in installations. Diana Taylor explores the impact of the past upon the present - living in an age of the ‘re’. Working across painting, print and textiles, and shifting between traditional and digital media, the images and processes in the work are linked by a pre-occupation with loss and ruin in visual culture through the circulation, saturation and degradation of files.
