T﻿he Rebuild Site takes surplus materials from construction sites and put them to good use.A﻿s part of our Communities Programme, we run a series of workshops, events and information sessions for the public. We cover areas such as sustainable skills, arts and crafts using recycled/ surplus materials and environmental focused activities.

<h4>Event Informaiton</h4>Try woodturning, in this 1-hour introductory session.Learn how to get started with this woodworking technique and create your own little wooden item, such as a spinning top or toadstool. A great way of using up surplus pieces of wood.This session will run on Saturday 10th August and we have a number of timeslots to choose from over the day. Each lasts for 1 hour, starting at 09:30, 10:45, 12:30, 13:45 and 15:00. See our website for more information.This class will run twice during our summer programme, so you have two dates to choose from. <h4>Session Information</h4><ul><li>These workshops are aimed at adults. You will need to be 18 or over to attend.</li><li>Unless otherwise specified, all materials will be provided by us.</li><li>Refreshments such as tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.</li><li>Due to the content of some of our activities, you will be required to undertake a Health and Safety briefing before the start of the session. You may be required to wear PPE, such as face shields and gloves. This will be provided by us.</li><li>Please wear weather and activity appropriate clothing and footwear when visiting us.</li></ul> <h4>Accessibility</h4>If you have any accessibility requirements, please get in touch with us before the event.We are close to the number 62 bus route which runs from Carlisle City Centre.
