<p>Join us for the fifth and final session of our FLOOD workshop series!</p><p>In this session we will be walking on Rainham Marshes on the Thames Estuary in Essex, starting near Purfleet railway station. The aim of the FLOOD workshop series is to explore place-making poetics across coastal and riverside spaces in the South East of England, investigating the tensions underlying shifting landscapes, intertidal zones, living systems and anonymised processes of de/composition. Through a series of exercises and prompts participants will be encouraged to test experimental strategies of site writing from psycho-geography and meta-fiction to eco-deviance and concrete poetry, with a focus on process and conversation rather than outcomes.</p><p>All levels of experience are warmly welcomed!</p><p>Tickets are £10 standard / £5 low income / FREE unwaged. Please email info@fieldnotes.site for a concession code.</p><p>The workshop does involve some walking, we’ll be going slowly and taking breaks but some of the route is on uneven footpaths.
