Balance: Wealth Planning is hosting a free one-hour session for those who want to make the most out of retirement. If you are already retired, or soon approaching retirement, then this workshop will provide valuable insight into the practical tools and essential factors to consider to ensure you have a fulfilled and happy retirement.

Since we’re all keeping healthier and living longer, retirement is the perfect time to discuss the importance of goal setting. Research has identified that we need to prepare and train ourselves for retirement, but the reality is often different. Many of us get to retirement unprepared, either due to a change in circumstances that has brought retirement unexpectedly forward or because we have been so wrapped up in pre-retired life that we are not adequately ready for what’s next.

The workshop will run for about one hour with time for questions afterwards.

The agenda

The workshop is designed to provide insight into how to enjoy a healthy and wealthy retirement and we will help to answer questions from three core areas:

1. Financial – such as, “Will I run out of money?” and “Have I got enough?”

2. Emotional – such as, “How do I adjust to the challenge of not working 40 hours a week?” and “How do I avoid losing my sense of identity?”

3. Practical – such as, “How do I reconnect with hobbies, interests, and people?”

The speaker will be our expert Financial Planner, Tina Winter, who has vast experience working with people in this phase of life.

We understand that just because someone has retired (or semi-retired) from working doesn’t mean that they are retired from life!

Our aim is that people leave the workshop armed with the vital things to think about to plan for a secure, but fulfilled future.
