Muirfield Riding Therapy is a member group of Riding for the Disabled UK, based in East Lothian. We have been providing life-changing riding therapy, free, for children and adults, with disabilities since 1989.

Come and celebrate the summer at our annual Big Barn Dance here at our Indoor Arena on Saturday 15th June, 6-9pm!One of the busiest and most popular ceilidh bands in Scotland, Clappy Doo, will be back. Experienced caller Graeme will ensure you have fun.Experienced line dancing instructor, Heather Baxter will also be taking you through your paces, and yes Beyonce's latest Country music will feature! NEW! Win Ice Cream for a year, courtesy of <a href="https://lucasicecream.co.uk" title="https://lucasicecream.co.uk" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">S Lucas of Musselburgh</a> This year, bring your own picnic supper - prize for the best spread (our 'Judge' will give points for food and presentation!) With a stocked Bar - this isn't a byob event - we'll have beer, wine, summer-themed pitchers &amp; cans of cocktails, plus non-alcoholic beer and soft drinks to buy all night, and lots of games. Be sure to wear your dancing boots - cowboy, wellies, riding boots - as our Arena surface gets very messy. Get dressed up and show us your Country style! Get your friends, family together. All ages welcome - under 18s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian 18+ Make a night of itOur Indoor Arena, West Fenton, EH39 5AL is approx one mile inland from the village of Gullane. We are not on a bus route. You may want to book your taxi in advance, there are plenty of local taxi firms. If you want to continue your evening afterwards, you might like to visit one of the local bars in Gullane including <a href="https://www.mallardhotel.com/" title="https://www.mallardhotel.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Mallard</a>, <a href="https://bonniebadger.com" title="https://bonniebadger.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Bonnie Badger</a>, and <a href="http://www.oldclubhouse.com" title="http://www.oldclubhouse.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Old Clubhouse</a> Supporting Muirfield Riding TherapyAll proceeds support the work of Muirfield Riding Therapy (MRT). The charity is a Volunteer-led Centre, providing pioneering, life-changing equine assisted therapy, free of charge. The Centre was built by the community, is run by the community, for the benefit of members of the community. MRT receives no central funding. It is only through the generosity of individuals and organisations, and fundraising events like this one, that it is able to raise the £200,000+ it costs, per year, to fund the centre and its activities which benefit so many.
