Music for a Summer's Evening

Crowthorne Choral Society has been part of the local community for over 50 years. Singers from Crowthorne and surrounding areas come to rehearse and perform great music.NEW MEMBERS WELCOMEAuditions are not required. Everyone is welcome so why not contact us, come along and introduce yourself or,better still, book in for a free taster session  before committing yourself to membership subscriptions so you can perform with us!Clickherefor tickets for your free session.EXCITING CONCERT SERIESWe are lucky enough to be led by Musical Director, Simon Williamson. The choir regularly collaborates with staff, student musicians and talented soloists from Wellington College, as well as professional musicians and soloists from across the country. We practice and perform a wide range of choral music - from early works to more contemporary pieces.   For example we have sung  Handel's Messiah (Part 1) and Brahms Requiem for our November concerts and our spring and summer concerts have included Goodall, Chilcott, Rutter, Gershwin and even Flanders and Swann!Clickherefor details on up and coming concert and events together with tickets for free tasters sessions if you are interested in joining us.

Whether you simply want an evening out to listen to the  Crowthorne Choral Society and take in the beautiful ambience of Wellington College or whether you'd like to come and join us and sing yourself, you'll find yourself welcome at any of our events.

<p>There is free parking on site and we would like to invite you to join us for refreshments  after the concert. If the weather is nice the refreshments will be set up outside on South Front. Otherwise, if it is raining, they will be set up in the  Waterloo Hall . </p>
