Learning the basics of sewing with our Beginner Stitching Courses, you'll be taught by industry pros how to prepare and start sewing to create your own clothes. These courses are suited for those looking to sew their own clothes or step into the industry.

introduction to industrial sewing and garment makingThis 4-day course will introduce you to industrial sewing and how to use an industrial machine for tasks ranging from threading to making a complete garment. The aim is that at the end of the week, you will have an insight into industrial garment making.You will be supported throughout the course by experienced tutors who will guide you.What you will learn:<ul><li>How to thread an industrial sewing machine</li><li>Learn different stitches and tensions</li><li>Understand how to cut fabric from a pattern</li><li>Learn about the different fabrics and how they are different in handling</li><li>How to sew straight lines and corners</li><li>How to make a garment from a pattern</li></ul>Dates and Times:This course takes place from Monday 12th August – Thursday 15th August 202410am – 3pmLocation: FC Designer Workspace, Studios 1 – 12, 9 Durham Road, London N7 7FBContact: education@fashion-enter.comFees: £100 for 4-days
