Our missionis to promote understanding of why infant mental health is important, and to support the professional development of all practitioners working with parents, infants and toddlers.AiMH UK is an interdisciplinary, not-for-profit organization, promoting understanding about infant mental health (IMH).  AiMH’s primary function is to support the UK community of infant mental health practitioners to come together and learn from each other and to contribute to the raising of standards of IMH practice. Supporting our members to build their IMH Portfolio

The AIMH UK IMH CPD Programme These complimentary sessions are exclusively available to our members, designed to support you in building your IMH Portfolio and aligning your skills and practice within the AiMH UK IMH CPD Programme. Orion Owen (Director of Education &amp; CPD), Alison Bird (Membership &amp; IMH CPD Administrator), will be on hand to support you. They will guide you in comprehending the competencies, and assist you in navigating the new online learning platform.<h3> </h3>Workshop - 5 - Using 'Team Work' to help build your IMH PortfolioOrion will discuss the benefits of working as a team when engaging in the IMH CPD Programme and will provide examples from her own IMH team's experience. All participants will be sent a CPD Certificate. It has also been sited in the Government launch of Family Hubs, one of the five Parent-Infant Relationship priorities for Start for Life (SfL) areas across the UK.*The Infant Mental Health Competency Framework (IMHCF) outlines the competencies that are fundamental to all students and practitioners working with infants and their parents/carers and identifies the competencies practitioners need to be effective in perinatal/infant mental health.
