We are proud to be hosting a debate in each Medway constituency in the run-up to the General Election. Candidates from all parties have been invited, and we will ask them your questions.

<a href="https://www.localauthority.news/" title="https://www.localauthority.news/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">localauthority.news</a> is proud to host a General Election hustings between the candidates standing to be the MP for Rochester and Strood.For this debate, all candidates standing in the upcoming election have been invited to participate, answering questions submitted by you.Candidates confirmed to be taking part:<ul><li>Peter Burch (Heritage)</li><li>Graham Colley (Lib Dem)</li><li>Daniel Dabin (Reform)</li><li>Lauren Edwards (Labour)</li><li>John Innes (Workers)</li><li>Cat Jamieson (Green)</li></ul>Unfortunately, Kelly Tolhurst (Conservative) has declined our invitation to attend. A seat will remain open for her, and we hope she changes her mind and decides to join us.By booking a ticket - either free or with an optional donation - you will be able to submit a question for the candidates. We can't guarantee we'll ask them all, but we will select as broad a cross-section of them as possible ahead of the event.Tickets are free, but you do have the option of contributing an optional donation when booking. This helps us cover the costs of putting on the event, and all donations are gratefully received.Event start at 7.30pm, close by 9.30pm.This event location is step-free. Please get in touch if you have any concerns over accessibility.Parking will be available in the nearby Blue Boar Lane car park (charges apply).
