In addition, Natasha teaches alongside colleagues on the Examination of the Newborn Programme and lead the Professional Midwifery Advocate (A-EQUIP) Programme.Natasha works in strong partnership with local NHS Trusts and works clinically when the opportunity arises at Birmingham Women’s Hospital, where she is also a link tutor. She holds an honorary contract with Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Healthcare NHS Trust. Natasha is a Registered Midwife, a Professional Midwifery Advocate and a Newborn And Infant Physical Examination (NIPE) Practitioner. Never one to accept a challenge, she is now undertaking a PhD in HealthRuth Lester OBEI am a retired Consultant Plastic Surgeon who specialised in the management of Children with Upper Limb differences at Birmingham Childrens Hospital. In 2018, I was awarded an OBE for services to children and young people with limb differences.Since retirement, I have worked as a trustee with Reach; the music charity, OHMI, and the Birmingham Women’s and Childrens Hospital.
