Encouraging communities that want to work towards a more Circular Economy
We provide repairs of items, directly addressing the ever growing emergency of unsustainable growth in landfill and waste.
Bikes, clothes, electronics

Repair cafés are pop up events held monthly on Campus where the local community, staff and students can get their broken household items repaired for free by volunteers (you can watch &amp; learn repair skills at the same time) The types of things fixed include clothes, household electrics, woodwork, children’s toys, furniture etc. Cycle Training Wales provide Free Bike Servicing - Brakes bothering you ? need some help with your chain ? or just haven't used your bike for a while ? SW Police and BT Police provide free registered security marking for bikes and any other equipment.Booking is not essential, but would be appreciated :-<ul><li>to give a guide of potential numbers for the event, </li><li>provide you with a reminder and </li><li>also ease of contact and wasted journeys, if the event should need to be cancelled for any reason.</li></ul>Please email Sustainability@cardiffmet.ac.uk with any queries or if you would like to volunteer your repair skills.
