Norfolk Record Office (NRO) collects and preserves unique archives relating to the history of Norfolk and makes them accessible to people all over the world.The events listed here are run from our base at The Archive Centre, Martineau Lane, Norwich.   Free parking is available at County Hall for Archive Centre users. Join us online for our FREE history talks, discover how a church became a museum, the preservation of Norfolk windmills and 900 years of history at Kett's Heights in Norwich.

<h3>ONLINE EVENT</h3><h2><br></h2><p>For such a small space with its panoramic views over Norwich, Kett’s Heights has had a long and often turbulent history. The Heights boasts an 11th century chapel, was the headquarters of a Tudor rebellion, a magnet for landscape artists and the site of Norwich’s first gasworks.
