Hustings Event for the General Election

Candidates for the General Election will each set out their policy statements, followed by a Q&A session.

Vinson Building Auditorium

The University of Buckingham will host a hustings event for Buckingham and Bletchley candidates in the Vinson Building Auditorium on Thursday, 27 June, from 6-7 pm. This event is open to all, offering a valuable opportunity for voters to hear directly from the candidates on the issues that matter most.Candidates will present their policy statements before opening the floor to questions from the audience. This is your chance to engage with the candidates and get answers to your pressing questions.To attend, please register in advance.The Buckingham and Bletchley candidates are:<ul><li>Conservative – Iain Stewart</li><li>Labour – Callum Anderson</li><li>Liberal Democrats – Dominic Dyer</li><li>Green Party – Amanda Onwuemene</li><li>Reform UK – Jordan Cattell</li><li>Independent – Ray Brady</li></ul>The hustings will be chaired by Professor James Tooley, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buckingham.Drinks will be served from 5:30pm with the event beginning at 6pm.
