<h3>We're on the move! Join fellow illustrators and hone your sensory and observational drawing skills for a guided walk and draw, ending with a picnic in the lovely museum gardens.<br></h3><p>Bring your favorite tools and material to draw on, a packed lunch and hopefully no brolly, but you never know!<br></p><p><strong><strong>The Plan</strong></strong></p><ul><li>10:15am Meet at the Perky Peacock, pick up any refreshments</li><li>10:30am We're walking and drawing! Illustrators are free to walk and draw at their own pace along the route</li><li>12:00pm Meet at Ciao York (just inside the entrance of the museum gardens) for refreshments, a picnic and to share what we've drawn (and probably more drawing)<br><br><strong><strong>Points of interest along the way include:</strong></strong></li><li>Perky Peacock</li><li>The Memorial gardens</li><li>The Bridge/Drawing from the bridge</li><li>Lendal Tower</li><li>The Riverside/boats</li><li>Ice Cream Boat/Legend of the Ouse (if docked)</li><li>Museum Gardens<br></li></ul><h4>The route has step free access with some inclines.There are toilets including disabled loos/changing places nearby at the library (the library is also good to shelter from bad weather!).<br><br>Reserve your place and join us for some sketching on-the-move in gorgeous York. We can't wait for this one!<br></h4><h4>About Drawvik</h4><p><a href="https://www.instagram.com/drawvik_york/" title="https://www.instagram.com/drawvik_york/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Drawvik</a> is a meet-up group for illustrators in and around York and is part of the network of illustrator meet-ups supported by <a href="https://theaoi.com/" title="https://theaoi.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">the AOI</a>.</p><p>Open to illustrators of all backgrounds and career stages. Drawvik is a supportive, lively hub to share inspirations, exercise some creative muscles and connect with like-minded folks.</p><p>We're here to cheer you on and build a welcoming and connected illustration community in York.</p><p><br></p><h4>Accessibility</h4><p>The AOI would like to make events accessible to all, where possible.
