<h4>What does it mean to be a man today? Robbie (44) and Alfie (10) meet on an extraordinary building site at dawn. Together they dance and play, trying to make sense of it all.</h4><h4> </h4>The Show for Young Men is the inaugural production by brand new Scottish performance company GuestHouse Projects, presented in association with Imaginate, and directed by Eoin McKenzie in collaboration with award-winning dancer Robbie Synge and young performer Alfie, who lives in North Edinburgh and goes to Forthview Primary School. This funny and tender new contemporary dance performance uses risk-taking dance and joyful play to present Robbie and Alfie’s blossoming friendship. Created for young audiences aged 8+, The Show For Young Men considers familiar and unexpected ideas about men and friendship, forging a space where a more compassionate and caring mode of masculinity can exist.

Age suitability: 8+Lenght: 1hTickets: This performance is a free preview performance for Ordinary and Youth NEA Members. Booking is essential. You can become an Ordinary or Youth NEA Member if you live in the local community (areas of Muirhouse, Pilton, Drylaw and Granton). Ordinary Membership fee is £3 for three years while Youth Membership is free. Please see the NEA membership boundry map below.
