Join us for the MinSouth Annual General Meeting (2024) followed by a Lecture for an evening  of networking and learning!

The MinSouth 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will begin at 18:00. This will be followed by the Lecture: Risk based approach for safety reviews of tailings dams &amp; water management dams which will be presented by Sam Safavian, Technical Director, Geotechnics, Dams and Tailings with SLR Consulting. It compares this method to traditional assessments and introduces a quantitative piping risk assessment for efficient mitigation. A case study demonstrates how societal risks are considered, offering practical solutions for community and asset protection. Presented by Sam Safavian, Principal Geotechnical, Tailings and Dams Engineer at SLR Consulting.
